Round 1: Marc Goddard is the referee. Condit flicking left jabs, throws a leg kick. Hendricks just misses with a huge left hand. Hendricks with another left, this one drops Condit. But Condit gets back to his feet. Condit throws a high kick. Condit with a right hand. Hendricks throwing more bombs, backing Condit into the cage. Hendricks grabs a double and scores the takedown, Condit with his back to the fence. They scramble to their feet, but Hendricks lands a knee and gets another takedown. Hendricks briefly thinks about working an armbar, but instead goes into Condit's guard. Hendricks postures up and Condit lands an elbow from the bottom. Hendricks stands, Condit follows him. Midway through the round. Hendricks throws a couple lefts, picks up Condit for a slam, but Condit manages to thwart it. Hendricks continues to hang on and gets the takedown. Condit spins out, but Hendricks grabs a headlock. Hendricks lands a knee as they get back to their feet. Condit lands a flying knee, but that just inspires Hendricks to keep throwing bombs. Hendricks goes for a takedown, but Condit gets his back. Hendricks stands with Condit on his back. They escape and Hendricks throws a kick. Condit tags Hendricks late. Round 2: Condit throw a low kick. Hendricks pushes forward and lands a knee. Condit throws a high kick. Condit keeping more space in the early going. Condit with a left to the body and an uppercut, then follow it with a takedown. Condit briefly goes for a Kimura but lets go. Hendricks working from side control, but Condit escapes and they're back to their feet. Condit lands a big right, throws a kick, but Hendricks pushes forward and lands several left hands. Hendricks has Condit locked against the fence, then picks up him for a takedown. Midway through the round. Back to their feet as Hendricks lands a left and Condit a pair of knees. Condit connects on a running knee, but Hendricks rolls with it and picks him up for a takedown. Hendricks in half-guard. Back to their feet, final minute. Both guys finally slowing a bit. Condit with a knee, Hendricks a left hand and a takedown. Condit scampers up in the final seconds. With a strong third round, we're looking at a fight of the year contender. Round 3: Hendricks, between rounds, tells his corner his left hand is hurt. But he came right out and threw a left. Condit flicks a low kick. They hit the ground with Condit working for a Kimura. Hendricks ends up in top position. Condit's landing short elbows from the bottom. Condit continuing to land from the bottom. Condit again works for an armbar. They're back to their feet. Condit throws a combo and Hendricks answers. Condit misses a kick and Hendricks gets his back. He clinches Condit and throws knees to Condit's hamstrings. Hendricks with another takedown. Two minutes left. Condit throwing from the bottom again. Hendricks stands, Condit follows. Condit tags Hendricks with a big right. Hendricks regains his bearings. Condit coming on strong, throws a head kick. Hendricks scores a takedown Hendricks is cut open. Condit back to his feet. Final minute. Condit with a left hook and a knee.
