This is the UFC 158 live blog for Mike Ricci vs. Colin Fletcher, a lightweight bout at Saturday night's UFC event at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Ricci, who lost his UFC debut at the TUF 16 Finale, will face Fletcher, who lost his UFC debut at the UFC on FX 6, on the main card.

Round 1: Marc Goddard is the referee for this battle of TUF runners-up. Ricci throws a head kick. Fletcher counters with a low kick. Both guys content to keep it standing early, throwing single strikes as they try to find their range. Ricci pushes Fletcher back with a body kick, throws a two-punch combo and lands a right. Still a deliberate pace midway through. Ricci pops Fletcher in the jaw and Fletcher responds with a solid counter. Fletcher misses times a spinning back fist and bails on it. Fletcher throws a kick which lands low on Ricci and Goddard calls time-out. Back to action. Fletcher catches a Ricci kick late and presses him against the cage as the round ends. Close round. Round 2: Pace picks up quickly as Fletcher comes out swinging, Ricci throws a head kick, Ricci scores a takedown. Ricci postures up and switches to side control. Ricci has Fletcher head over heels on the mat, Fletcher reaches for a heel hook but doesn't get it. Fletcher scrambles back to his feet. Fletcher came out of that exchange with a cut under his right eye. Fletcher getting the best of the grappling contest along the cage. They break and end up center Octagon midway through the round. Fletcher lands a knee and a body kick, Ricci throws a high kick and Fletcher throws a low kick. Ricci has a mouse under his left eye. The fighters look tired in the final minute. Round 3: Fletcher shoots for a single-leg in the opening seconds, but all he manages to do is push Ricci back to the fence. They reverse position a couple times. Fletcher works for a standing guillotine, but doesn't come close. They break and we're back to a slow-paced kickboxing match. Fletcher is picking up the pace a bit, landing a spinning back fist. Neither fighter showing much urgency in the final minutes. Ricci with a takedown, Fletcher tries to work a position from the bottom, but nothing's doing. One minute left. Ricci landing solid elbows and left hands. Fletcher rolls and Ricci gets his back. Ricci working for a rear-anked choke, but doesn't get it.
