Three fights have been announced by the UFC on Saturday morning.
Headlined by the light-heavyweight title fight featuring Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira, UFC 171 has another pair of bouts. Thiago Silva and Ovince St. Preux, originally planned for UFC Fight Night 35, will go down in Dallas, Texas, on March 15. Silva (16-3, 2NC) is coming off a decision victory over Matt Hamill, while St. Preux (14-5) scored a KO win against Cody Donovan.
At the same night, Bubba McDaniel (21-7) takes on Tor Troeng (16-5-1) in a middleweight bout. "The Manace" has his 7-fight win streak snapped against Brad Tavares in his last UFC fight, and Troeng looks to return to the win column after a decision loss to Rafael Natal.
UFC on FOX 10 has another bout added to the card in Chicago, Illinois. Coming off a first-round submission victory over Pride and UFC veteran Mirko Filipovic in Russia, Alexey Oliynyk (48-9-1) looks to extend his win streak to ten when he takes on Jared Rosholt (9-1) on Jan. 25. Rosholt beat Walt Harris in his UFC debut last November.
