This is the UFC Fight Night 33 live blog for Pat Barry vs. Soa Palelei, a heavyweight bout at Friday night's UFC event at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Round 1: Steve Perceval is the referee in charge of the action. Both fighters open orthodox. Palelei right away clinches, but Barry digs an underhook and gets away. Barry now in southpaw. And now back to orothodox. Barry lands a flying knee, but is taken down. Barry lacks up a kimura grip, but as soon as he gets it into half guard Palelei escapes. Palelei moves into mount and stops Barry with a barrage of punches as he goes unconscious.
