This is the UFC 168 undercard live blog for the UFC 168 event at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
There will be six fights on the UFC 168 undercard. Chris Leben vs. Uriah Hall, Gleison Tibau vs. Michael Johnson, Dennis Siver vs. Manvel Gamburyan, John Howard vs. Siyar Bahadurzada, William Macario vs. Bobby Voelker, and Robbie Peralta vs. Estevan Payan will be featured on the prelims.

Robbie Peralta vs. Estevan Payan
Round 1: Yves Lavigne is the referee for this featherweight fight. Peralta throws a low kick, lands an overhand right, closes the distance, and scores a takedown. He lands a couple lefts from half guard, but otherwise, Payan has him pretty well tied up. Payan scrambles back to his fight, but Peralta bodylocks him along the fence. They trade knees, switch positions. It turns into a scramble and Peralta is in Payan's half-guard again. Payan throws him off and rolls into side control. He can't do much with his position. Peralta postures up a bit and lands a right hand. A right elbow to the midsection and a left elbow to the head. Peralta struggles to espcae and eats a right hand. Peralta back to his feet right before the horn. Close round, as both had significant portions of the round with ground control time, but neither did much with it. MMAFIghting scores the round for Estevan Payan, 10-9.
Round 2: Peralta charges in with an overhand right, but Payan lands a counter left. Peralta again charges in and throws a two-punch combo. The third time he tries it, he eats a sharp counter hook. Peralta lands a left, then checks a Payan head kick. Peralta continues to initiate and then get out of range. He throws a few leg kicks. They clinch and Payan scores the takedown. He;s again working from side control. Payan lands a couple rights. Payan stands, and Peralta rolls backwards and to his feet. Peralta gets underhooks and pushes Payan back to the fence. Payan reverses positions with 30 seconds left. Rounds ends in this position. MMAFighting scores the round for Payan, 10-9 (20-18 overall).
Round 3: A quick slap of the hands as round three starts. And just like that, it's over. Peralta rushes in swinging, lands a big right, a big left to the jaw which sends Payan stumbling backwards, another big left to the jaw which drops Payan, and a few punches later, Lavigne stops it.

William Macario vs. Bobby Voelker
Round 1: Mario Yamasaki is the referee for this welterweight fight. Macario throw a low kick. Macario throws a few wild punches, one of which lands and sends Voelker backwards. Crowd is very much pro-Macario, who was a TUF 2: Brazil finalist. An exchange ends with Macario landing a knee in the Thai clinch and Voelker covering up. Macario lands a straight right. Midway through the round. Macario again rocks Voelker back and pummels him before Voelker can escape. Voelker's nose is cut open. Voelker lands a straight right. Macario with a takedown. Lands a knee to the body as Voelker gets back to his feet. Final minute. Macario with a big left. Voelker starts throwing in the closing seconds, but doesn't land anything of note. Round 2: Voelker twice pops Macario with solid rights. Macario's pace has slowed considerably since the last round. Voelker landing straight lefts. Macario shoots a single and gets the takedown. Voelker scoots back to the fence and gets back to his feet. Voelker moves forward, but eats a counter right which stops him in his tracks. Voelker with a rope-a-dope right. Macario opens up with a series of lefts and rights. Voelker's covering up. He eats a right which briefly knocks him to the mat. Huge Macario chants in the crowd. Voelker's face is cut open badly. He doesn't go down, though. Yamasaki calls time and the doctor's coming in. Referee clears him to fight. One minute left. Voelker lands a solid two-punch combo Voelker's nose is in hideous condition. Voelker's still pushing forward. MMAFighting scores the round for Macario, 10-9 (20-18 overall).
Round 3: Voelker's nose has already busted back open before the round even starts. Early action alternates between Voelker pushing forward and clinch work. Macario's blond hair is turning red from Voelker's blood. Macario sprawls a takedown attempt. An accidental eye poke, as if Voelker doesn't already have enough problems right now. Midway through. Voelker trying to wipe the blood out of his face. Have I mentioned Voelker is shedding a lot of blood? He's spending more time wiping it out of his eyes than fighting. Macario's fighting like a guy who knows he's way up on the cards. Macario with a late takedown. Back up, Voelker with a final flurry. MMAFighting scores the round for Macario, 10-9 (30-27 overall).

John Howard vs. Siyar Bahadurzada
Round 1: Steve Mazzagatti is the referee for this welterweight bout. Lots of movement in the opening minute, but little action. Howard throws a left and Siyar answers with a counter. Howard checks a head kick. Siyar with a right hand. Siyar with a solid two-punch combo. Howard goes for a half-hearted takedown attempt, which Siyar sprawls. Some inconclusive clinch work along the fence. They break and end up in the middle. Howard can't find his range on his overhand rights. Siyar again sprawls a takedown. Siyar with a knee in the clinch, but Howard grabs the knee and turns it into a takedown. Siyar tries to get to his feet with Howard on his back, who tries for a a choke. The both end up standing. Howard again goes for a single, but Siyar breaks free and comes out swinging in the closing seconds.MMAFighting scores the round for Howard, 10-9.
Round 2: A bit of a wild slugfest early. Siyar gets a takedown about a minute in. Howard works for an armbar from the bottom. Back to their feet. Howard looking stronger in the clinch, but Siyar breaks free and lands a knee. Howard counters with a right. Siyar opens up with a four-punch combo and Howard covers up. Siyar goes for a takedown, Howard sprawls it and gets a quick standing guillotine. Howard picks Siyar up on his shoulders, fireman carries him halfway across the octagon, and drops him with a huge slam in the closing seconds. Round 3: Howard shoots a double and pushes Siyar back into the fence. They break and Howard opens up with a four punches. Siyar looks like he’s hit the wall. But as soon a I say that, I moves forward and throws a knee. They exchange in center octagon. Howard switches levels and scores an easy takedown. Howard with several right hands right on the button. Siyar turns over but Howard’s got his back. It ends up with Howard in position, then into Siyar’s half-guard. Two minutes left. Dennis Siver vs. Manvel Gamburyan
Round 1: Herb Dean is the referee for this featherweight fight. After an inconclusive early exchange, Siver scores a takedown. Gamburyan works an armbar from the bottom. Siver scrambles back to his feet. Siver with a low kick as Gamburyan keeps his distance. Gamburyan throws a wheel kick. Gamburyan ducks a Siver right, shoots a double and gets the takedown. He works for a heel hook. Siver switches position. Gamburyan gets back to his feet, but he’s got Siver on his back and throwing punches the whole way. MMAFighting scores the round for Siver, 10-9.
Round 2: Siver walks into a Gamburyan left and then slips. Gamburyan with a takedown. Gamburyan Starts to open up from top position, landing big lefts and rights and opening up a cut over Siver’s right eye. Siver back to his feet. Gamburyan continues to stay far outside to keep away from Siver’s kicks. Siver throws a pair of font kicks and backs Gamburyan into the cage. Gamburyan shoots the double, picks him up and lands the slam. Gamburyan throwing elbows and right hands in the closing seconds. MMAFighting scores the round for Manny Gamburyan, 10-9 (19-19 overall).
Round 3: Odd exchange early as Gamburyan sweeps low for a kick and loses his balance. Siver with a high kick and a low front kick. And another kick which lands decidedly low. Dean calls timeout. Siver gets chastised by Dean and we’re back to action. Gamburyan whiffs on a left hand and Siver scores a takedown. Gamburyan tries to isolate Siver’s left arm, but Siver resists and lands right hands to Gamburyan’s torso. Gamburyan lets go, gets to his feet, but has Siver on his back. He tries to roll out of it, but only ends up back on the mat with Siver still attached. Siver with big lefts and rights. Gamburyan rolls again and Siver works for a choke. 90 seconds left. Gamburyan turns again, but only takes more punishment from Siver, who’s still on his back. Gamburyan’s basically hanging on. Siver throwing left hands in volume, though they’re more pesky than solid. Gleison Tibau vs. Michael Johnson
Round 1: Yves Levigne is the referee for this lightweight fight. Lots of movement, circling, and throwing but missing from both in the opening minute. Johnson lands a right to the midsection and Tibau just misses a big right. Tibau bulls Johnson into the fence. Johnson escapes and we’re back to center octagon. Midway through. Johnson connects with a right hand. Tibau scampers backwards and throws a two-punch combo. Johnson sprawls a takedown attempt. Final minute. Again with a takedown attempt and again Johnson sprawls, though he ends up pinned against the fence. Round ends in a clinch. MMAFighting scores the round for Michael Johnson, 10-9.
Round 2: More of the same to start the round, Johnson moving in and out and occasional throwing a jab. Out of nowhere, Johnson drops Tibau with a left to the jaw. A huge right hand to the grounded Tibau and it’s all over as Levigne steps in.

Chris Leben vs. Uriah Hall
Round 1: Steve Mazzagatti is the referee for this middleweight fight. Hall comes running out and immediately drops Leben with a flying knee. Not enough to knock him out though, As Leben pops right up. Hall is making Leben chase him. Hall comes in and throws another knee. Leben connects with a left hand. Leben with a low kick. Hall keeps circling backwards and waiting to counter. Hall connects with a right. Leben is cut under his right eye. They clinch. Hall blocks a knee and lands one of his own before they break. Hall with a front kick. Hall flicks a left, Leben fans on a big right. Two minutes left. Hall clearly looking to tire Leben out. This continues for most of the rest of the round. Hall drops him with a big right in the closing seconds, Leban is saved by the bell. The fight is waved off between rounds.
