Live Chat: UFC 168 preview, the 2013 year in MMA discussion

The big one is finally here. In 36 hours, one of the most important and high-profile fights in UFC history will take place between a man who is widely considered to be the best to ever do it and another man who wants to start his legacy by being the first to beat that legend twice in a calendar year.

The implications for the bout are huge: what does a loss mean for Silva's immediate future? If Weidman loses, does that negate his first win? Either way, is Silva's legacy intact? Could the UFC lose two superstars in two weeks?

We can also use this to look back on the year that was in MMA and what a glorious year 2013 was.
