TUF 18 Finale salaries: Gray Maynard, Nate Diaz lead $312,000 payroll

Lightweight headliners Gray Maynard and Nate Diaz led the reported $312,000 payroll for Saturday night's The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale, according to figures released to MMAFighting.com by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Diaz made short work of Maynard to cap off the event, which aired live on FOX Sports 1 from Las Vegas, NV. Diaz finished off Maynard with a ruthless salvo of punches midway through the first round to settle the pair's rubber match and pocket $30,000 in victory. Maynard, meanwhile, earned $45,000 in the losing effort.

Elsewhere on the card, TUF 18 winners Julianna Pena and Chris Holdsworth both took home $16,000 paydays for their tournament clinching victories over Jessica Rakoczy and David Grant, respectively. Pena knocked out Rakoczy ($8,000) with one second left in the first round to become the inaugural women's TUF champion, while Holdsworth submitted Grant ($8,000) with a second-round rear-naked choke to top the men's side of the bracket.

Undercard losers Rani Yahya and Maximo Blanco led the night's remaining payroll. Yahya took home $20,000 in a losing effort against Tom Niinimaki ($8,000), while Blanco earned $17,000 with his disqualification loss to Akira Corassani ($16,000).

TUF 18 Finale took place November 30, 2013 at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Events Center. As always, the entire TUF 18 Finale payroll can be seen below, although these figures do not represent a fighter's total earnings, as sponsorship money and discretionary post-fight bonuses are not publicly disclosed.

Additionally, Diaz and Holdsworth pocketed $50,000 post-fight bonuses for their work, while Benoit earned an extra $100,000.
