UFC Fight Night 32 Live Blog: Paulo Thiago vs. Brandon Thatch

This is the UFC Fight Night 32 live blog for Paulo Thiago vs. Brandon Thatch, a welterweight bout at Saturday night's UFC event at the Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil.

Thiago, who has won three of his past five fights, will face Thatch, who is 1-0 in his UFC career, on the main card.

Round 1: Referee is Dan Miragliotta. They touch gloves, and we're underway. They are trading kicks. Mostly Thatch throwing legs early, push kicks and leg kicks. He comes in with a high knee, and Thiago takes the opportunity to take Thatch down. Thatch able to stand back up along the fence. Thiago with a body lock, and Thatch busts through it with a knee. He lands another one to the body, and then in the clinch, he lands one to Thiago's chin. Thiago looks for a trip, but finds an immovable object. Bang! Thatch lands a huge knee to the left side of Thiago's body that fells him, and then jumps on top of him and lands a finishing blow. Miragliotta steps in a waves Thatch off. Crazy power in that left knee, just crashed into Thiago's body and hurt him badly. Crowd fell silent. Even in victory, Thatch had a big hematoma on his forehead and was bleeding above his eye.
