Jessamyn Duke and Peggy Morgan were both on Team Rousey in this season of The Ultimate Fighter, are both tall, lanky bantamweights, and both entered their Saturday night fight with each other with 2-0 professional records.
But that's where the similarities ended at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Duke, who has moved to Glendale, Calif., to continue training with Rousey, simply outclassed the New Hampshire native on Saturday night en route to a unanimous-decision win.
The action kicked off in round one, during which Duke was strong in the clinch, then nearly finished the fight with a standing guillotine which was taken to the mat and tightened up. Later, Duke got Morgan in a triangle and simultaneously pelted her with elbows to the head.

Round two was mainly standing, with Duke getting the best of it. In round three, Duke nearly gave the fight away, going with a sloppy headlock which left her back open. Morgan got her back and sunk in a choke, but couldn't finish it. She was continuing to work on the ground when referee Kim Winslow ordered an inexplicable late standup. Duke got the best of the standup again over the rounds final seconds.
Judges' scores were 30-27 across the board.
