An undisclosed injury has forced flyweight contender John Moraga out of his UFC on FOX 9 bout with Darren Uyenoyama.
Alptekin Ozkilic will take Moraga's place in the Dec. 14 bout in Sacramento, Calif.
The UFC announced the news Tuesday via Twitter.
A native of Turkey, Ozkilic trains at St. Charles MMA in Missouri. He brings an 8-1 record into his UFC debut. He's on a three-fight win streak, the last two via finish. His most recent fight was a TKO victory over veteran Antonio Banuelos at a Legacy Fighting event in May.
Uyenoyama (8-4), a 34-year old out of San Francisco, has fought three times in the UFC, going 2-1. His TKO loss to Joseph Benavidez at UFC on FOX 7 in April ended a three-fight win streak.
While Moraga's injury is unspecified as of this writing, the UFC indicated he'll be out of action for four weeks.
