Pacquiao vs. Rios took place November 23, 2013 at the Venetian Macao in Macao, China. Manny Pacquiao improved to 55-5-2 in his career with the win, ending his two-fight skid. Brandon Rios dropped to 31-2-1 with the loss. Catch the video highlights above.

Round 1: Pacquiao opens southpaw, Rios is orthodox. Body shot for Pacquiao as he slowly opens up. Pacquiao already placing shots, though none of them devastating. Sneaky left for Pacquiao finds the mark. Rios slips, but it's no knockdown. So far, Pacquiao's left is finding the mark, but Rios scores smalls shots on the inside. Pacquiao is timing Rios and landing a hard left.

Round 2: Pacquiao opening up with lefts, but Rios is trying to crowd him on the inside. Pacquiao throwing hard punches around the gloves and he's staying off the ropes. Rios opening up a bit more, but so far Pacquiao landing the better shots. Pacquiao landing hard uppercuts, but Rios returns the favor. Sneaky left again for Pacquiao.

Round 3: Rios again trying to bully Pacquiao against the ropes, but Pacquiao manages to cut angles and get around. Rios whips a right over the top as Pacquiao cuts an angle, but it doesn't lasnd with much. Good jab from Rios and inside body work. Better round for Rios.

Round 4: Nice right by Rios, but Pacquiao responds with a series of combinations. And Pacquiao makes Rios miss in extravagant ways. Rios pressing forward, but Pacquiao doing a better job this round of movement. Pacquiao much more active with the jab and cutting angles this round and again sneaks through the left. The pair trade shots on the inside as the round expires.

Round 5: Rios trying to jab to close this distance but Pacquiao is still dancing around him. Pacquiao nails Rios with a monster left. And another. A series of hard uppercuts from Pacquiao now and Rios isn't doing much by trying to apply forward pressure. Four-punch combination from Pacquiao and he's landing everywhere. Pacquiao scores a wild series of punches, whipping Rios' head left and right.

Round 6: Counter left from Pacquiao and Rios looks frustrated. Short right hook from Pacquiao, but not with much authority. Three-punch combinqtion from Pacquiao connects and he's doing all the offense. Rios' chin is incredible. Pacquiao lands a four-punch combination and Rios is hurt, but somehow surviving.

Round 7: Rios lands two jabs as counters, but with no sting on them. Pacquiao right away is just banging on him, whipping hooks around the gloves of Rios. Stinging jab right down the middle from Pacquiao. Pacquiao again whips two punches the corner and Rios is being clobbered. After a brief clinch, they separate. Rios not applying as much pressure as before.

Round 8: Pacquiao with two body shots off the clinch. Rios trying to keep Pacquiao against the ropes and can't do it. Rios lands a series of body shots as they clinch. Good jab from Rios. Pacquiao landing on the outside with a monster right hook. Rios with a pushing jab. Three-punch combo from Pacquiao to close the round.

Round 9: Left cross down the middle twice for Pacquiao to start things off. Five-punch combo from Pacquio, although much of it is blocked by Rios. Rios trying to corner Pacquiao and eats two hooks, but gives one back to the champ. Crushing uppercut and left straight from Pacquiao. Rios shakes his head, but Pacquiao is all over him.

Round 10: Rios scores a body shot as he presses Pacquiao against the ropes. Pacquiao's speed is giving Rios fits and he lands a three-punch combination. They trade hard crosses. Pacquiao is just clobbering Rios now, landing uppercuts and right hooks to a stationary Rios. Decent punch by Rios against the ropes.

Round 11: Three-punch combination by Pacquiao as he is demolishing Rios. Pacquiao is just unloading on Rios, but the American continues to pursue. Pacquiao leaps in with a left and tags Rios. Not as much action in this round as the previous ones.

Round 12: Pacquiao dancing around and just bombing on Rios, but the challenger keeps moving forward. Pacquiao unloads another three-punch combination Rios. The American's face is a mess. And it's over. Pacquiao absolutely routs Rios in a complete beatdown.
