This is the UFC Fight Night 29 live blog for Raphael Assuncao vs. T.J. Dillashaw, a bantamweight bout at Wednesday's UFC event at the Ginasio Jose Correa in Barueri, Brazil.

Assuncao, who has won four straight fights, will face Dillashaw, who also has won four straight fights, on the main card.

Round 1: Mario Yamasaki is the ref. Big right from Assuncao lands. Dillashaw shakes it off. Dillashaw changes levels, and shoots for a double-leg, and gets Assuncao down momentarily. Assuncao back up. Assucancao comes over top and lands. Dillashaw using his combinations effectively. Dillashaw with a head kick, and Assuncao answers with a leg kick. Now Dillashaw grabs Assuncao's back, and climbs aboard. He is cranking Assuncao's neck, but the Brazilian gives the thumbs up. He gets out, but Dillashaw reapplies the crank. It's all Dillashaw late in the first round. But Assuncao finally able to get to his feet to the crowd's delight. Dillashaw tries to throw a big head kick, but fans on it and goes down. He bounces back up. Crazy action in that first round. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 for Dillashaw.

Round 2: Assuncao times out a left right down Broadway, that lands. Dillashaw right back. Assuncao catches a Dillashaw kick and gives him a parting shot with a kick on the break. There's a little mouse forming under Assuncao's eye. Dillashaw keeping his left coiled now, and switching stances. Assuncao drops a power left on Dillashaw, and it lands flush. Now He grabs Dillashaw's neck and attempts a guillotine. Dillashaw pops out of it, and Assuncao -- looking at the clock nonchalantly -- applies another guillotine. Dillashaw staying safe here, and puts up his hands to signal he's fine (and fed up). They are back up. Dillashaw with his right hand ready to unload. Big exchange, as Dillashaw goes to the body and Assuncao lands a big left to his kisser. Blood dribbling out of Dillashaw's nose. Assuncao shoots for a single-leg, but doesn't get it. Dillashaw bleeding badly as he goes for for Dillashaw's back. Assuncao wearing Dillashaw's blood all over his shoulder. MMA Fighting scores round 2 10-9 for Assuncao (19-19 overall)

Round 3: They stand toe-to-toe in the center of the cage to start the third. Big knee from Dillashaw which slams into Assuncao's nose as he goes for a takedown. Both guys are disrupting the other in takedowns. Dillashaw plants and throws, but eats a left form Assuncao. Dillashaw still bobbing and moving forward. Assuncao grabs a single, but nothing doing. They return to the middle of the cage. Dillashaw continuing to go back and forth between orthodox and southpaw. Assuncao trying to time out a counter, but is missing on the big shots. Dillashaw pouring blood from above his right eye. Dillashaw, after an exhcnage where neither guy landed clean, had a momentary takedown of Assuncao, but the Brazilian pops right back up. Both guys were elusive enough to avoid the big punch, but both got nicked up cumulatively in that fight. MMA Fighting scores round 3 for Assuncao, (29-28 overall for Assuncao)
