This is the UFC on FUEL 6 live blog for Thiago Silva vs. Stanislav Nedkov, a light heavyweight bout at Saturday's UFC event at the Cotai Arena in Macau.

Silva is 0-2 (with 1 no-contest), in his past three fights, while Nedkov has never lost in his MMA career, including a first-round knockout of Luiz Cane in his UFC debut at UFC 134.

Check out the live blog below.

Round 1: Steve Perceval is the referee and the two do not touch gloves. Nedkov clinches with Silva and presses him into the fence. The two are basically swinging haymakers, but nothing major lands and they go back to clinching. Silva lands a knee as he breaks and a nice jab. Hard outside leg kick from Silva and Nedkov attempting a single leg, but it's stuffed. Silva fires another knee to the body of Nedkov. There are brief clinch breaks, but they don't last long and neither does much with them.

The two separate and again Silva is back to the leg kicks. Middle kick for Silva and now to the legs. Right hand from Nedkov drops Silva and that's the most meaningful punch of the round.
