UFC 132 Live Blog: Carlos Condit vs. Dong Hyun Kim Updates

LAS VEGAS -- This is the UFC 132 live blog for Carlos Condit vs. Dong Hyun Kim, a welterweight bout on tonight's UFC pay-per-view at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Condit (26-5) is on a three-fight win streak, beating Jake Ellenberger, Rory MacDonald and Dan Hardy. Kim (14-0-1) defeated Nate Diaz at UFC 125 earlier this year.

Round 1: They touch gloves and Condit circles warily away from the Stun Gun. Kim throws out a kick and tries to cut off the cage. Condit comes in with a punch combo and gets taken down. That took all of 45 seconds. Condit doesn't stay on his back for long, though, sweeping Kim and landing in mount. He tries to lock up a guillotine from the top, but Kim scrambles out and to his feet. Condit tries to keep Kim at bay with a front kick, but Kim comes forward behind a punch combo and catches a Condit right hand to the side of the head for his trouble. Condit backs him up with a front kick and then nails him perfectly with a jumping knee that lands right on the point of the jaw. Kim drops and Condit finishes with a quick flurry. Condit rises and walks calmly off with his arms in the air.
