Round 1: Roop comes out moving around fast, firing with a variety of strikes. Roop gets through with a leg kick. Hominick times a straight right and drops Roop with it. Roop with a leg kick and Hominick tags him with a jab. Hominick is clearly much better than Roop. Hominick connects with another left hand. Hominick lands a right, left and another right and Hominick is just landing whatever he wants. Hominick throws a left hook to drop Roop again and throws another left hook with Roop sitting to seal the deal. The referee stops the fight and Hominick gets Jose Aldo next for a shot at the UFC featherweight title.
