Donald Cerrone sho
wed off a great display of fighting from his back Thursday at WEC 53, spending most of the second round controlling Chris Horodecki from the bottom before eventually getting him to tap out to a triangle choke.
Cerrone thanked his coach afterward.
"Thanks to Greg Jackson," Cerrone said. "Always pushing, always giving us words of wisdom to keep us motivated. I've got to give it all to Greg Jackson."
It was a great performance by Cerrone, who will head into the UFC lightweight division with some momentum, and some very intriguing matchups likely ahead of him. Cerrone said he wants to fight Cole Miller in his first UFC fight.
That will be an interesting fight. Horodecki, however, probably doesn't have any UFC fights ahead of him. He didn't look good at all, and he probably won't be invited to join the UFC when it absorbs the WEC after this event.
