MONTREAL -- This is the
UFC 124 live blog for
Stefan Struve vs.
Sean McCorkle, the co-main event of tonight's UFC pay-per-view card at the Bell Centre.
Struve (20-4) is coming off a KO victory over Christian Morecraft at UFC 117 in August. The undefeated McCorkle (10-0) won his UFC debut in September by defeating Mark Hunt with a straight armbar at UFC 119.

This is one of the tallest fights in UFC history, 6-foot-7 McCorkle vs. 6-foot-11 Struve. Struve towers over the top of the octagon.
Round 1: Struve walks McCorkle down. He throws a straight right that lands, and McCorkle scoops him up and slams him down. McCorkle goes for a kimura. Struve protects his arm by backing against the cage, and he breaks free. McCorkle remains on top though. McCorkle's got him against the cage and he throws strikes and elbows. Struve goes for the arm bar but McCorkle stacks him up. A loud "GSP" chant begins for no apparent reason. Struve sweeps him with 90 seconds left, immediately nto full mount, and goes right into ground and pound. Struve unleashes and finishes from the top.
