ANAHEIM, Calif. -- This is the UFC 121 live blog for Court McGee vs. Ryan Jensen, a middleweight bout on tonight's Spike TV portion of the card from the Honda Center.Court McGee (12-1) will make his first appearance in the UFC since capturing the TUF 11 title against Kris McCray in June. Jensen (15-6) submitted Jesse Forbes at UFC 114 in May.

Round 1: McGee tries for a takedown early and gets shrugged off. A left hook from Jensen puts him on his butt for just a moment, but he's back up and looking for the clinch. Jensen leg trips him down and then lands a nice hammerfist from the top as McGee tries to get up. McGee hangs tough and works back to his feet. Jensen grazes McGee's head with a right hook. A head kick by Jensen is blocked, followed by one from McGee that misses entirely. Another right hand from Jensen and McGee's eye is starting to swell. The offense has been all Jensen so far. Windmill right misses by Jensen, but McGee can't capitalize. MMA Fighting scores it 10-9 for Jensen.
Round 2: McGee checks a leg kick and lands one of his own. Jensen is staying mobile, never standing in front of McGee for very long. A good counter left hook from McGee stings Jensen, who responds with a head kick that's blocked. Jensen's nose appears to be bloodied, and he's slowed down just a touch. They clinch and Jensen briefly tosses McGee down, but can't follow up to keep him there. McGee is going on the attack now. A right hand sends blood flying off Jensen's nose. McGee lands another right and transitions into a takedown from a body lock just before the round ends. MMA Fighting scores the round 10-9 for McGee.
Round 3: McGee stuns Jensen with a left hook and then follows with a right that sends more blood flying. With Jensen hurt, McGee scoops him up for a big slam. McGee moves quickly to mount and unleashes a torrent of elbow strikes. Jensen tries to scramble away and McGee locks up the arm triangle, squeezing until Jensen is forced to tap.
