Round 1: Grispi came out active, throwing high kicks and leg kicks. Davis measured him early, checking out the range and throwing out an occasional left. Davis bulled in for a takedown two minutes in. On the way down, Grispi cinched in a guillotine. Davis fought it for a while but found himself trapped as Grispi tightened it. Davis had no way out but fought it until he went limp and the ref stopped it.
A triumphant return after a one-year injury layoff for Grispi.
