UFC 114 Post-Fight Bonuses

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Jason Brilz, Mike Russow and Ryan Jensen each earned a $65,000 bonus for post-fight honors following Saturday's UFC 114 event in Las Vegas.

In a fight where almost no one gave Jason Brilz a chance, the Omaha wrestler registered a surprising competitive performance against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. In fact, many believe Brilz should have received the nod and he came out looking better than Nogueira despite the loss, so this bonus will serve to be at least a satisfying consolation prize.

The Knockout of the Night didn't go to the holder of the fastest UFC knockout, Todd Duffee, but his opponent and underdog Mike Russow. After losing the fight for two-and-a-half rounds, Russow snuck in a counter right hand to Duffee's temple, flooring the muscleman out. Russow, a Chicago police officer, extends his win streak to nine with his third career knockout victory.

The Submission of the Night was an easy one, as there was only one option. Ryan Jensen was the only fighter to score a submission, tapping out The Ultimate Fighter 3 contestant Jesse Forbes with a guillotine choke in the opening fight of the card.
