Round 1: Hansen lands an inside leg kick. Takaya moves in with a short right and they briefly clinch. They exchange leg kicks. Takaya with an inside leg kick and throws two punches that are blocked. Hansen with a leg kick. Takaya lands an inside leg kick. Most of the damage so far in this fight have been through leg kicks. Takaya throws a right to setup a takedown. Hansen defends and they are clinched against the cage. Hansen works hard for the takedown, but misses it. Hansen lands knees to the thigh. Hansen tries another to dump Takaya. Referee Yuji Shimada restarts them with 1:14 left. Takaya lands a right hand and Hansen stumbles. One more drops Hansen on his back. Takaya adds one more to leave Hansen out cold.
Takaya becomes the first person to knock out Hansen.
