Spike and the UFC are countering Strikeforce's Heavy Artillery show with a new edition of "UFC's Ultimate Fights," and they're also bringing the high-caliber weaponry.
The Jung-Garcia match was an absolute war. While technique went out the window for extended stretches, the heart and guts put on display for 15 minutes by "Bad Boy" Garcia and instant cult hero "The Korean Zombie" will no doubt help the bout stand throughout the rest of 2010 as one of the year's best fights.
Other bouts on broadcast cable for the first time include Shane Carwin's win over Frank Mir at UFC 111, as well as two bouts from UFC 112: Mark Munoz vs. Kendall Grove and Terry Etim vs. Rafael dos Anjos.
The broadcast airs at 10 pm ET.
Strikeforce's live show, which will air on Showtime, features a heavyweight championship main event pitting Alistair Overeem against challenger Brett Rogers. In the co-main event, Andrei Arlovski will take on Antonio Silva.
The Showtime broadcast also begins at 10 pm ET.
