MONTREAL -- Following Jason MacDonald's release from the UFC last April, "The Athlete" always said that his only goal was to someday return to the Octagon, not fight for any other competing organization. A little over a year later, MacDonald is back in the UFC, as he was a late replacement for an injured Nick Catone against John Salter at this weekend's UFC 113 event.
MMA Fighting spoke to the native of Edmonton, Alberta, about his year-long journey back to the UFC and how he has evolved as a fighter since his loss to Nate Quarry last April.
