Round 1: Slapping head kick from Curran early, but Huerta barely flinched. Curran landed an inside kick that was thudding and Huerta went for a takedown but Curran stopped him. Very measured pace from both guys. Curran lands a kick, Huerta answers. Curran throws a right and Huerta falls as he loses his balance but gets back to his feet in a flash and looks unhurt. They clinch against the fence. Huerta lands a big knee to the body with a minute left as he begins to assert himself. Curran lands a right on the way out. MMA Fighting scores the round 10-9 for Curran.
Round 2: Huerta a bit more aggressive to start the round. He lands some leg kicks from the outside and takes the center of the cage. Huerta hurt Curran with a right. Curran dove in a for a takedown and Huerta followed him down with some strikes. They exchanged against the cage with Huerta getting the better of the offense. Huerta got the momentum back and MMA Fighting scores the second frame for him, 10-9.
Round 3: Huerta breaking him down with knees to the legs and body against the cage in the first minute of the round. Curran is not going away though, he does some nice work in tight with strikes. Huerta takes him down and scores with punches. Curran escapes and we go to the last minute of a tight contest. Curran takes him down but only holds him down for a second. Super tight round. I score it for Huerta, 10-9.
