Soto (7-1), who announced the fight Wednesday morning on his Twitter, will be making his second appearance inside the Octagon. At UFC 111, Soto was disqualified against Matt Riddle for an illegal upkick. Soto is hoping for better luck against another The Ultimate Fighter contestant, the 5-1 Osipczak.
A member of Team Rough House in England, Osipczak recently lost at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi to Ricky Story by split decision. Osipczak had entered the event with UFC wins against Matt Riddle and Frank Lester.
UFC 118 is expected to be headlined by a championship rematch between titleholder Frankie Edgar and former champion BJ Penn.
