Strikeforce will hold a Showtime-televised card at the Nokia Theatre at LA Live in Los Angeles on June 16, the promotion announced Friday.
No fights have been announced yet, but Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker revealed to MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani that the promotion will attempt to put together a middleweight fight between Robbie Lawler and Jason "Mayhem" Miller. That is, if Miller wins his fight against Tim Stout on Saturday.
The Strikeforce card will be sandwiched in between this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo weekend happening June 15 through 17 at the nearby Los Angeles Convention Center.
Tickets will go on sale in two weeks. Strikeforce's upcoming schedule is below.
Strikeforce: Nashville (CBS) -- April 17
Strikeforce St. Louis: Heavy Artillery (Showtime) -- May 15
Strikeforce Challengers 8 (Showtime) -- May 21
Strikeforce in LA (Showtime) -- June 16
