World-class wrestler Daniel Cormier will make his second step inside the cage at the upcoming Strikeforce Challengers 7 event on March 26 in Fresno, Calif.Although the fight wasn't official until this past weekend, Cormier said on his Twitter that he had a full training camp to prepare.
Cormier won his MMA debut last September at Strikeforce Challengers 3, stopping Gary Frazier in the second round with punches. Cormier, who was a member of the 2008 Olympic wrestling team, but didn't compete due to health issues, trains out of AKA in San Jose.
Cormier will meet John Devine (5-1), whose resume includes appearances in the Gladiator Challenge and CCFC promotions.
