Joey Beltran will make his second trip inside the Octagon when he takes on undefeated Chad Corvin at UFC 113 on May 8 in Montreal, the UFC confirmed Thursday.
Beltran (11-3) made his UFC debut at UFC 109 stepping in on a week's notice and stopping Rolles Gracie in the second round. He entered the fight coming off a TKO win against Houston Alexander.
Beltran said after the Gracie fight to expect a short turnaround time for his next fight.
"I'm eager to get out there and I exited this fight with zero damage," Beltran told MMA Fighting. "So I'm right back in the gym already, and just looking to improve and come out and put on a better showing and a little more entertaining fight this time."
Corvin (6-0) will be making his UFC debut after three years of fighting mostly in local shows in Tennessee and Kentucky. He has finished all six of his fights.
