Round 1: Bowles counters a kick with a right. And again. Cruz very active on his feet. He's swinging away from far. Bowles looking to counter, and he lands. Cruz lands a big right but Bowles isn't phased. Bowles instead hurts Cruz. Cruz returns fire and rocks Bowles with an over-the-top right. Bowles come forward with punches and Cruz turns him over for the takedown. Bowles stands. Bowles lands on a right. Bowles is bleeding from his nose.

Round 2: Cruz lands on a counter right. Bowles lands a nice straight right. Bowles comes forward and again Cruz lands a right. Cruz with a left and rights and a kick that sweeps Bowles. Cruz unloads again and finishes with a hard leg kick. Bowles shoots and Cruz defends. Accidental kick below the belt pauses the matchup. They trade hard shots. Bowles connects on punches, and Cruz lands a counter. Cruz slashes Bowles down with a takedown.
