Badr Hari returned to the kickboxing ring on Saturday night in the Czech Republic, defeating Mourad Bouzidi by second-round knockout at It's Showtime 2010 Prague.
Hari staggered Bouzidi with a good combination at the close of the first round, and Bouzidi still seemed to be dazed at the start of the second. Hari leveled Bouzidi twice in the early portion of the second round, then knocked him unconscious with a brutal uppercut in the round's closing seconds.
It was, as expected, an easy win for Hari in his first bout since losing to Semmy Schilt in the K-1 World Grand Prix 2009 Final. Though the loss to Schilt was a significant setback, Hari remains one of the biggest stars of kickboxing, and his win over Bouzidi provided the kind of impressive finish that kickboxing fans want to see more of from Hari in 2010.
