UFC Quick Jabs: Grove-Munoz; Bradley Released; AKA Says No to Drugs

Kendall Grove and Mark Munoz have agreed to meet in a middleweight contest at UFC 112 targeted for April 10 in Abu Dhabi, according to both fighters' Twitter accounts.

Overcoming a nasty head kick knockout loss in his UFC debut last March to Matt Hamill, Munoz (7-1) has won two fights since moving down to middleweight. Grove (13-6) avoided a release in November when he submitted Jake Rosholt with a first-round triangle choke at UFC 106.

UFC 112 could feature a triple main event of Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort, BJ Penn vs. Frank Edgar and Matt Hughes vs. Renzo Gracie.

- Kyle Bradley (14-7-01) recently lost his third UFC fight at UFC Fight Night 20 and has been released from his UFC contract. While with the UFC since early 2008, Bradley lost to Chris Lytle, Joe Lauzon and Rafael Dos Anjos and his lone win was against Phillipe Nover.

- Newsitem.com reports that American Kickboxing Academy members Jon Fitch, Josh Koscheck and their coach Bob Cook made appearances last week to encourage students to establish goals and stay away from drugs. For their volunteer work, they were honored as "honorary police officers" during a ceremony at the Shamokin Area Middle/High school in Danville, Penn. (HT: MMA Mania)
