UFC Primetime will follow St. Pierre and Hardy in their pre-fight preparations, just as it did last year with St. Pierre and Penn. Last year's show focused heavily on the contrasts between St. Pierre as the more reserved, more gentlemanly fighter and Penn as the brash trash talker, and there's little doubt that this year's show will put Hardy in the trash talking challenger role that he plays so well.
Following the format pioneered by HBO's 24/7, viewers will see Hardy at his training camp in Nottingham, England, and St. Pierre at his camp in Montreal, and the quick turnaround time of the production will allow the two fighters to respond to each other's comments on the show.
The first episode of UFC Primetime will air Wednesday, March 10, at 10 PM ET/PT on Spike TV. UFC 111 takes place on Saturday, March 27, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and will air on pay-per-view.
