Bao Quach Joins Bellator's Featherweight Tournament



Bao Quach
has signed with Bellator, becoming the fourth competitor set for the promotion's upcoming season two featherweight tournament in April.

Quach (17-9-1) of Irvine, Calif. has won 11 out of his last 12 and has fought locally everywhere from Strikeforce, EliteXC, Affliction, Shooto, King of the Cage, WEC and more.

Quach, a member of Team Oyama with Rob Emerson and Shane Del Rosario, joins Georgi Karakhanyan, William Romero and Patricio Freire in the tournament.

Karakhanyan (12-1-1) is a former pro soccer player who has finished 10 of his fights.

Romero (5-0) of Canada is a former paratrooper in the Canadian armed forces.

"Patricio Pitbull" (12-0) of Brazil will receive wider recognition with his first chance to fight in the US.
