Dana White Believes Fighters Are Subjected to Strict Drug Testing

The issue of drug testing has become a hot topic once again in the world of combat sports since Floyd Mayweather and his camp demanded certain tests be conducted prior to his potential fight against Manny Pacquiao later this year.

Following the UFC 108 post-fight press conference, Dana White said he was very pleased with the way athletic commissions have handled drug testing. The UFC president also said that he believes fighters are subjected to stricter drug testing procedures than any other athlete and that there is absolutely no place for drugs in combat sports.
