UFC 108 Medical Suspensions: Dustin Hazelett Suspended Up to Six Months

Dustin Hazelett has received a minimum medical suspension of two months that could increase to six unless he receives doctor clearance.

According to the Nevada athletic commission, Hazelett suffered right orbital blowout and nasal fractures following his first-round loss Saturday at UFC 108 to Knockout of the Night-winning Paul Daley.

For an injury-plagued card that saw fighter after fighter pull out, Hazelett was only one of six fighters issued suspensions as a precautionary measure.

The other fighter that could face six months is Mark Munoz, who will be require to have his right hand, wrist and elbow x-rayed and cleared by a doctor.

Ryan Jensen was suspended for three weeks and Mike Pyle, Sam Stout and Jacob Volkmann were each suspended for one month.
