This is the UFC 107 live blog for Frank Mir vs. Cheick Kongo, a heavyweight bout on tonight's pay-per-view. Mir is most recent ex-champion, handing over his belt to Brock Lesnar at UFC 100 in July. Kongo is also coming off a tough loss, being outwrestled by undefeated AKA fighter Cain Velasquez at UFC 99 the month before.

Round 1: Mir toppled Kongo with an overhand left about 30 seconds in, then went for a guillotine. Kongo never tapped, but went unconcious. Wow, that's how you back up smack talk.
