Veteran Fabricio Camoes Says UFC Debut Is 'Dream Come True'

LAS VEGAS -- Fabricio Camoes has long been considered one of the best kept secrets in mixed martial arts, but come Saturday night, that all might change. The former middleweight Brazilian fighter who now competes as a lightweight will face veteran Caol Uno in his Octagon debut at UFC 106.

When FanHouse spoke to Camoes, who's nicknamed "Morango," which means strawberry in Portuguese, due to his love of strawberry yogurt, at the Wand Fight Team Gym in Las Vegas on Tuesday, he said that while Uno already had a run in the UFC, his time is now. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Royler Gracie and Vini Aieta also talked about what it means to finally get a shot in the UFC after competing in the sport for nine years. The video interview is below.
