Fastest KO in MMA History: 2 Seconds

Early this month I referred to Steve Ramirez knocking out Darvin Wattree in three seconds as the quickest KO ever in MMA. I can now report that there's been a faster one.

Bloody Elbow pointed out that Ryohei Masuda needed just one punch and two seconds to knock out Takahiro Kuroishi at Rings: The Outsider 2 on July 19, 2008, in Tokyo. It was Kuroishi who made the mistake of charging forward at the bell, and Masuda simply reacted by throwing a punch that left Kuroishi face down on the canvas. The two fighters' supporters then went at it, and the subsequent brawl in the ring was a lot more eventful than the fight that preceded it.
