B.J. Penn's Flexibility More Impressive Than His Vertical Jump

Another day, another video posted to YouTube by UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn, showing off his incredible athleticism. And I have to say, this one is even more impressive than the last.

Over the weekend, we posted video of Penn jumping out of a three-foot pool of water. But the above video, showing Penn's flexibility, is even more amazing. Yes, that's really Penn sitting down, lifting his leg and putting it behind his head -- all with his hands on the floor. I just tried it and couldn't even come close to touching my leg to my head, let alone putting my leg all the way behind my head.

We've always heard that Penn's great flexibility and explosive power in his legs are a primary reason that he's one of the best Brazilian jiu jitsu practitioners in the world, and with these two videos, we have all the proof we need. I love the way Penn is using YouTube to hype his fight with Kenny Florian at UFC 101, and I look forward to finding out what else he can do.
