'TUF 5's' Noah Thomas signs with WEC

"The Ultimate Fighter 5" competitor Noah Thomas (13-4) has signed with the WEC and will make his debut for the promotion on June 7 in Sacramento, California.

Thomas, who appeared on the Spike TV show as a lightweight, is currently a bantamweight. He'll take on Frank Gomez (6-1) in place of the injured Eddie Wineland.

Thomas is riding a seven-fight win streak where he has submitted six opponents and knocked out one. In his last two fights, Thomas captured the TKO and Ring of Fire bantamweight titles.

During his stint on the Spike TV show, Thomas was tossed from the house for getting into a backyard fight with Marlon Sims. Although Spike TV had wanted Thomas and Sims to fight in the finale, White nixed the idea, sending Thomas back to regional promotions.
