UFC president Dana White, former light-heavyweight champ Forrest Griffin and number one lightweight contender Kenny Florian appeared Friday on the "Dr. Phil" daytime talk show.
The UFC representatives were brought in to educate on the proper ways of training mixed martial arts for a career with the UFC. The appearance is in response to brawlers who aim to become professional mixed martial artists by engaging in illegal street fights.
The episode was titled "Dangerous Teen Trends."
Dr. Phil, or Phillip McGraw, is a former clinical psychologist who gathered a following through "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
