UFC middleweight Jason MacDonald (21-11) has signed with Round 5 for his very own collectible figurine, MacDonald's manager announced today.
MacDonald is the first Canadian to sign with the Ontario-based toy figurine company. In addition to receiving royalty off sales, MacDonald will be allowed to pick his own sponsors for the figure's shorts to generate additional income.
MacDonald joins Fedor Emelianenko and Gina Carano as fighters signed on for collections to be released later this year. Series Three, with Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Frank Mir, "Big" John McCarthy and Andrei Arlovski, will be released in May.
MacDonald, who has already defeated four "The Ultimate Fighter" veterans, takes on season one alum Nate Quarry this Saturday at UFC 97 "Redemption" in Montreal.
