UFC 100 sells out before public sale

Before tickets even went on sale for the general public, UFC 100 has sold out.

Tickets would have gone on sale for the public Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m. PT. Pre-sale tickets went to UFC Fight Club members on Thursday and newsletter subscribers on Friday.

That's a quick sellout especially considering the more expensive than usual ticket prices of $100, $200, $300, $500, $750 and $1,000.

UFC 100 takes place July 11 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

The event features two title bouts as well as this season's "The Ultimate Fighter" coach showdown.

Champ Brock Lesnar will clash with interim champ Frank Mir to determine the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion.

Georges St-Pierre will defend his welterweight belt against Thiago Alves.

Team US coach Dan Henderson will tangle with UK coach Michael Bisping for a future shot at the middleweight title, which is currently held by Anderson Silva.
