Strikeforce "Shamrock vs. Diaz' online for $24.95

Showtime will present a live interactive webcast of Strikeforce "Shamrock vs. Diaz" on Saturday from the HP Pavilion in San Jose.

The "Strikeforce All Access" webcast carries a price tag of $24.95 and begins the same time as the Showtime telecast at 10 p.m. ET. But unlike the television broadcast, the web stream will allow viewers to select from five different camera angles as well as choose between audio from the live cameras or the Showtime announce team consisting of Gus Johnson, Mauro Ranallo and Pat Miletich.

Former Strikeforce middleweight champ Frank Shamrock (23-9-2) headlines the event with welterweight Nick Diaz (18-7) in a catchweight bout with a weight limit of 179 pounds.

The Strikeforce lightweight belt was supposed to be on the line but champion Josh Thomson pulled out due to a broken leg. Thomson's scheduled opponent, the previous champ Gilbert Melendez (14-2), will now take on Rodrigo Damm, who is a very solid replacement especially on short notice. Damm (8-2) finished all three of his opponents while with Bodog Fight and last June defeated Jorge Masvidal via TKO at Sengoku in Japan.
