Nick Diaz and Gilbert Melendez will be competing on Strikeforce's first show on Showtime on April 11, reports GracieFighter.com, the official site of the Cesar Gracie camp.
Diaz's opponent is rumored to be Frank Shamrock and the announcement could come in a conference call on Tuesday.
Diaz (18-7), a lightweight title contender during his stint with EliteXC, is one of the fighters being brought over from the sale of ProElite's assets to Strikeforce.
Melendez (14-2) is a former Strikeforce lightweight champion and will be returning from his title loss to Josh Thomson last June at Strikeforce "Melendez vs. Thomson" in San Jose, California.
