Lyoto Machida wins knockout of the night at UFC 94

In the only finish of the night, Lyoto Machida took home the Knockout of the Night bonus at UFC 94 in Las Vegas.

Machida picked up at $65,000 bonus for the knockout against Thiago Silva with one second left in the first round. The knockout was Machida's first since knocking out Rich Franklin on New Year's Eve in 2003.

UFC president Dana White assured Machida during the post-fight press conference that he'll receive a title shot by the end of the year and he'll probably fight Rashad Evans for the title if Quinton "Rampage" Jackson loses to Keith Jardine at UFC 96 on March 7.

Two fights were awarded the Fight of the Night honor. John Howard, Chris Wilson, Clay Guida and Nate Diaz each earned a $65,000 bonus for their fights. Howard and Guida defeated Wilson and Diaz via split decision, respectively.
