This is the FanHouse live blog of tonight's UFC 92 heavyweight fight between Cheick Kongo and Mostapha Al-Turk. Kongo-Al Turk is the first fight on the pay-per-view card and starts around 10:10 p.m. Eastern.

Round 1: This fight is underway. They don't touch gloves and instead start by trading jabs. Kongo caught a kick and landed a punch. Al-Turk goes to the ground but gets back up. Al-Turk shoots but Kongo shows good takedown defense. Nice knee to the body by Kongo. Al-Turk has Kongo pinned against the fence, but Kongo is landing a lot of punches. Now Kongo is landing elbows to the head and Al-Turk has no answer. The ref separates them because Al-Turk landed a knee to Kongo's groin. That has to hurt. Kongo looks like he's in a lot of pain, and the fight has been delayed for a couple of minutes. The fight has started up again. Al-Turk misses with a wild right hand. Kongo is looking tentative. Al-Turk wants to take the fight to the ground, but Kongo is showing very good takedown defense. And another low blow! This time it's Kongo kneeing Al-Turk in the groin. And the fight is delayed again. And now we've started up again. Kongo lands some solid strikes and goes for the ground and pound. Kongo is just brutalizing Al-Turk. And it's over!
Result: Cheick Kongo beats Mustafa Al-Turk by first-round TKO (strikes).
