Roan Carneiro, who had been fighting exclusively for the UFC since April 2007, has signed to fight "The Ultimate Fighter 7" contestant Paul Bradley on Feb. 6 at World Cagefighting Alliance at th Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Bradley's management announced the welterweight bout today.
"Paul Bradley is one of the top fighters on the East Coast and deserves a shot to move up to the next level." WCA Matchmaker Gary Marino said. "I book fights as a fan. I match fighters who want to advance in their careers. He wanted a high level fight and that's what I got him."
American Top Team's Carneiro (12-8), competed five times for the UFC, winning against Rich Clementi and Tony DeSouza and losing to Jon Fitch, Kevin Burns and most recently Ryo Chonan.
In his last fight, Bradley (9-0) defeated fellow season seven cast member Dante Rivera at Ring of Combat 22 by TKO in 34 seconds.
