Cain Velasquez to fight at UFC Fight Night 17 on Feb. 7

Undefeated heavyweight Cain Velasquez will compete at UFC Fight Night 17 on Feb. 7 at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida.

Velasquez revealed his participation in the UFC on Spike TV event in an interview Saturday in Las Vegas with Steve Cofield of ESPN Radio 1100. Although Velasquez knows who his opponent is, he declined to name him.

Velasquez (4-0) out of the American Kickboxing Academy is a former 2-time All-American wrestler for Arizona State University. Velasquez won both his UFC fights by way of first-round TKO.
