'UFC Fight For The Troops' Live Play-By-Play Results

Live results of the main card of "UFC Fight For The Troops" at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Jim Miller (156) vs. Matt Wiman (156)

R1: Miller staggers Wiman early, but Wiman recovers. Miller continues to land well and Wiman shoots for a takedown. Miller latches on a tight guillotine and rolls into mount. He keeps applying pressure but Wiman refuses to tap. Mario Yamasaki repeatedly warns Wiman for grabbing Miller's shorts but Wiman doesn't let go. He eventually slips out of the choke and gains guard. Miller lands ground and pound from the top, bloodying Wiman. Wiman escapes and the fighters exchange on the feet. Wiman winces visibly from a body kick. Both fighters look tired from the hectic pace.

R2: Wiman comes out striking aggressively and avoids Miller's takedown attempts. Miller lands a combo and keeps up the pressure. Wiman looks hurt, but is surviving. Miller scores a single leg and works strikes from the top.Wiman keeps his hips active to prevent Miller from passing, but Miller keeps up the ground attack for the rest of the round.

R3: Wiman comes out aggressively, landing strikes with both hands. Miller responds with a takedown. Wiman gets back to his feet and trades blows, but Miller puts the fight on the mat again. Miller passes into side control, but Wiman works him back into guard and gets to his feet. Wiman lands a hard knee, but Miller scores with another takedown. Again, Wiman gets to his feet and scores with a takedown of his own, but Miller takes advantage of a positional mistake and takes Wiman's back. Miller goes for mount and misses it, finishing the round in Wiman's guard.

Jim Miller wins via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-27)

Tim Credeur (186) vs. Nate Loughran (185)

R1: The fighters exchange lightly on the feet. Credeur stuffs a takedown from Loughran and pushes the fight against the fence. Credeur lands a body kick as they separate and continues to connect with with jabs and straights. Credeur is landing easily and often and he scores a takedown to close out the round.

R2: Loughran comes out strong, landing a punch and leg kick before seeking a takedown. Credeur sprawls and Loughran pulls guard. Credeur lands strikes from Loughran's guard and cuts his opponent around the left eye. A referee stand up puts the fighters back on the feet. Credeur is controlling the pace and landing the better shots. Loughran looks tired and continues to back up as the round ends. Loughran is unable to answer the bell to begin the third round. A reply shows that Loughran told the referee he was unable to continue.

Tim Credeur wins via TKO at 5:00 of Round 2.

Steve Cantwell (206) vs. Razak Al-Hussan (205)

R1: Al-Hussan pushes forward with jabs and straight kicks. Cantwell looks a bit puzzled early and backs up to defend. Cantwell looks to have found his range and beings to land with punches. Cantwell trips Al-Hussan to the mat and passes into side control. Cantwell passes into mount, secures the arm, and extends for the armbar. Al-Hussan tries to roll out of it, but the hold is in deep. Cantwell rolls with it and looks to snap Al-Hussan's arm. Referee Mario Yamasaki wisely stops the bout.

Steve Cantwell wins via Technical Submission (armbar) at 4:04 of Round 1.

Mike Swick (171) vs. Jonathan Goulet (171)

R1: Swick is light on his feet and looks aggressive. He comes in with a quick punch flurry and drops Goulet to the canvas. Goulet grabs a leg and attempts to regain his bearings, but Swick unloads with hammer fists and punches to the head, forcing referee Dan Miragliotta to call a halt to the bout. Goulet crumples to the mat and is out cold.

Mike Swick wins via KO at :33 of Round 1.

Josh Koscheck (171) vs. Yoshiyuki Yoshida (171)

R1: Both fighters trade from a distance early. Yoshida works a variety of kicks to the head, legs and body. Koscheck lands a hard right as he backs up. Koscheck lands a massive right straight and Yoshida is dazed on the feet. Another vicious right drops an unconcious Yoshida to the mat.

Josh Koscheck wins via KO at 2:15 of Round 1.
